Oneplus One Oxygen OS 2.1.4

So one Jan26,2016 Oneplus rolled out the Oxygen OS 2.1.4 update for their first and success gadget Oneplus One or Bacon!. After waiting so long for an update OPO users running on either CM12S or Oxygen OS are now able to flash their OPO device to the latest build from OnePlus. Sadly there won't be any OTA update for this. So users will have to manually flash their devices to the latest build.

So how is it? Does it worth to update?  

Yes! completely here are some reasons for it. There is almost no bloatware or crappy applications preloaded which is a big point to note. But there are some applications that are not necessary like google sheets, docs and few more which can be useful to some and not useful for many. There is one more application which is completely unnecessary Swift keyboard. And i don't have any reason against it. On the other hand there some good customization settings like Oneplus One own wallpapers which are kinda cool. Custom LED notification light setting. Dark mode which looks dope. Yes! if you can live without some customization features it does worth.

Camera

There is new camera app for this latest build of Oxygen OS2.1.4. This app is very similar to Oneplus Two or Oneplus X camera app. Although the performance is great with this new app. Shutter speed is fast enough to capture some rare shot. There is one circulating bar to control exposure. But sadly there is no professional or manual mode is bundled in it. Even shooting in raw is not available now with this app. The image quality and colors reproduction is fine and some where better than earlier.

Battery 

Oneplus One was considered as one of best phone for power users with great battery life and a battery champ that used to never die before 5.30 to 6 hours of on screen which sadly died with lollipop update in both ROM's cyanogen and Oxygen OS 1.0. But this time it is better and and specifically the stand by time is super great. 

This new update definitely worth your time and data. But the problem is if cyanogen releases the official build of CM13 on next day. Then for some people it will be a anxious time.
